About us

All our instructors have held teaching positions in Sweden and the United States (junior high-school, senior high-school, college and university) and implement Learner Centered Education, recognized as one the promising teaching schemes for ABET accredited universities in the United States of America. All our instructors are holder of dual graduate degrees (Master’s and above) with at least one graduate degree from Sweden and another graduate degree from the United States or the United Kingdom.

All our instructors have successfully completed a university/college teaching certificate program in the United States with components including: intensified teaching methods in didactics, teaching psychology and teaching seminars. The program was finalized by three examination elements and the average cumulative GPA of our staff in this certificate program was: 4.0/4.0. Our instructors are also inducted Wakonse Fellows for their contribution to inspirational teaching in the United States.

Svenskatimmen’s teaching philosophy is to:

• Encourage students to seek help and allow a direct welcoming communication with the students

• Praise all students for their good qualities and encourage them for life learning purposes. Promote critical and creative thinking and multifaceted reflections about the subject
